My
mother gave me my first cooking lessons. She taught
me the art of cooking for particular palates. After all, with
five children, she knew just how to make each one of us happy.
Her talent made an immense impression on me, inciting my passion
for cooking, and starting me on my culinary journey.
In my more than 20 years of experience in the food service
industry, I've studied under great chefs, in an array of cuisine—including
South and Central American, French, Italian, Indian, and Thai.
I've had my cuisine featured and reviewed favorably in several
publications, most recently in: Milwaukee
Magazine; The Shepherd Express, Milwaukee; and The Press,
Milwaukee; CityBeat, San Diego. I have also appeared on Inside San Diego.
I hold a Foodhandler Education Certificate issued by the San
Diego County Department of Environmental Health. I have experience
preparing food for people with specific dietary needs relating
to diabetes, high blood pressure, weight loss, and lowering
cholesterol. I'm also a proud member of the American Personal
Chef Association.
I believe the passion for cooking stays strong when you know
whom you heat your pans for. Getting to know my clients and
working to create memorable and savory meals for them is what
keeps me going.
